Axis provides students with an introduction into Mastercam
by covering many topics such as: § Software Interface
§ Geometry Creation (2D and 3D) § Geometry
Modification and Manipulation § File Conversion
§ Contour Toolpaths § Pocketing Toolpaths
§ Drilling Toolpaths § Work Offsets (G54,
G55, etc.) § Importing and Exporting § Toolpath
Verification
While
Mastercam comes with an excellent manual and tutorial,
there is no substitute for a structured class, taught
by a certified instructor. Cimquest has authored an
entire series of manuals for Mastercam and has a staff
of knowledgeable and experienced instructors.
